Dr. Taylor Young

CEO, Founder

Hello and welcome! I’m Dr. Taylor Young, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a PhD in Medical Family Therapy. Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to helping individuals, couples, families, clinicians, and organizations heal and thrive through a Biopsychosocial-Spiritual (BPSS) approach. This means honoring the powerful connections between our physical health, emotional experiences, social relationships, and spiritual identities.

In addition to my work at Guided Narratives, I serve as the Director of Behavioral Health and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. There, I teach family medicine doctors how to integrate behavioral health into patient care and recognize the full spectrum of BPSS needs. My clinical, teaching, and research experiences across academic health centers, primary care clinics, and community-based settings deeply inform the comprehensive, integrative support I offer clients.

I have had the privilege of supporting a wide range of individuals, from high-conflict couples seeking deeper connection, to individuals navigating stress, grief, trauma, and identity exploration. I aim to warmly welcome clients from all backgrounds, creating a therapeutic space rooted in respect, affirmation, and inclusivity.

Whether working in therapy, supervision, or consulting, my goal is always the same: to create spaces where people feel seen, understood, and empowered to live more connected, meaningful lives.
